Welcome to Vale De Milho
VALE DE MILHO GOLF is a beautiful 9-hole course, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, close to the village of Carvoeiro, in the Algarve.
The course is a scaled-down version of a full-sized course and plays as a 9-hole par 3 course for adults and a customised par 35 for juniors.
It is a high-quality course designed by Dave Thomas, who played in the Ryder Cup 4 times and, besides “The Belfry”, has designed over 40 golf courses. VALE DE MILHO GOLF has the ambience of a full-sized course and is maintained to high standards all year round. With its large contoured greens, tall trees, lakes and bunkers, it provides a real challenge.

About Jimmy: Born & raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Jimmy Cruz is a PGA golf professional currently living in the Algarve, offering coaching lessons and committed to helping others to improve their golf skills and overall game.
He has lived in Europe for over 20 years, first taking up golf in 2005 in Kington, United Kingdom.
He started out in sports at a young age and represented his country in Surf, going on to qualify as a fully trained Chef.
However, his passion and talent for golf enabled him to achieve and obtain a PGA professional qualification. With this, he is enthusiastic and genuinely motivated to help others interested in improving their golf skills, technique and overall level of performance.
Through coaching lessons, he can share his knowledge and expertise, whether it be in a one-on-one or in a group setting, depending on your requirements and assist golf enthusiasts of all abilities to achieve their maximum level of performance.
He has already helped many customers achieve noticeable improvements to their golf swing and etiquette and hopefully, you can experience the same!

How many holes does the course have?
The course has 9 holes.
Do you offer food and drink?
Yes, the 6 club house offers food, snacks and soft, hot and alcoholic drinks.
Do you have a golf society?
There is both memberships available to join Vale De Milho, or the 6 Golfe Society operates from VDM, with games across the Algarve.
Does the course rent carts?
We don’t have buggies to hire, but we do offer trolleys for rental.
Do you have certified Instructors?
Golf classes and academy lessons can be arranged with prior contact on a bespoke basis, please call us, or pop in to the clubhouse to discuss our academy options.
Do you have a score card app?
You can download the free 19 Hole App, where you will find Vale De Milho listed with a digital score card, and plenty more features.
